Kuma a rottweiler doing pet physical therapy in San DiegoFrom: Debora and Michael Stacker and “Kuma”
“Lisa at Pet Physical Rehabilitation of San Diego is just what the doctor ordered for our loving Rottweiler, “Kuma”, after his spine surgery. His love for Lisa has him running in to the building to get to therapy when just a few weeks earlier we carried him in on a stretcher. It gives us peace of mind to know that he is being cared for by someone who treats him as if he were her own pet. Kuma walking after pet therapyWe would highly recommend Pet Physical Rehabilitation of San Diego to anyone dealing with a dog in need of healing. Kuma’s spirit has lifted and in turn, his recovery has accelerated.
Thank you Lisa!”

We had a positive and productive experience with Pet Physical Rehabilitation of San Diego and Lisa Draper. We found Lisa to be very Testimonial from pet physical therapy customerknowledgeable and helpful. She treated our dog as if he was her own when scheduling treatments. She was always accommodating to our schedule. The result of her hard work was amazing. We would highly recommend Pet Physical Rehabilitation of San Diego if you are looking for quality treatment for your pet.

From: Sharon Howard and “Sheila”
Hello my name is “Sheila”; I am a 5 year old Border collie who loves agility, tennis balls and my toys. Pet using pet physical therapy. I am a healthy girl but 3 months ago I started limping first on my right front leg and then on my left front leg. I also started knocking bars in jumper’s courses which I never did, but I hurt and no way to really let my mom know.  My mom took me to get an MRI and it was discovered that I had Bilateral Myopathy of the biceps (fluid buildup).  This can be very serious and tear the membrane around the bicep muscle if left untreated.  So 6-8 weeks of rest, no activity except very short walks.  This is very boring to me because I am used to loads of activity.  Then mom discovered Pet Physical Rehabilitation of San Diego and they had an underwater treadmill.  My first time there I looked at this and it appeared to be a big crate that you could see out of all the way around, because I am a very nosey border collie I had to see what this was and walked right in. My dear Lisa Draper who is my rehabilitator turned on the water and it filled up to about 14 inches and then the bottom started moving, so I started walking and loved it.  Ms. Draper is cheery and upbeat so I am always happy to see her.  She is not only very knowledgeable; she knows animals and how to treat them.  I have finished my first 10 sessions and I am going to get to do another 10 sessions.  Because of my inactivity mom was very worried my muscles would seize up but because of my underwater treadmill therapy my muscles are just fine.  I will be returning to agility and my toys, but no more tennis balls, guess I jumped and twisted and it is what caused all my pain.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell you about Pet Physical Rehabilitation of San Diego, they are the best!!
The above is told from the dog’s point of view and the owner is in complete agreement.
